Nightlife In Delray Beach | 4 More Spots To Check Out

more delray nightlife hotspots

Delray Beach is a bustling seaside city. Well, it used to be, that is! Now, it is a cultural melting pot, rich with fusion cuisine, cocktail bars, art galleries, upscale dining, and high-end fashion. The transition from a quaint village to a quasi-urban sprawl seemed to appear overnight. With an influx of demographics from New York, California, and Texas--it's not too hard to figure out why the population has grown. Factor in a significant amount of tourism to the mix, and you have a transient hotspot.

Delray Beach is arguably one of the best places in the tri-county area. With Miami over an hour away, and Ft. Lauderdale leading the ascent north, Delray is the perfect getaway for its residents. You don't need to waste time in rush hour traffic anymore. Delray Beach is the new kid on the block, and it is certainly here to stay. With all this increase in culture, wealth, and tourism, the Delray nightlife contains some hip hotspots for those who come out at night.

Salt 7

What could easily be construed as a nightclub in some circles, this Delray classic has been a staple of the community for over 10+ years. With a laid-back vibe during the day, and a bass-filled atmosphere at night, anyone coming to the area needs to check this place out.

Conveniently located next to Park Tavern (another classic bar), your urge to sate thirstiness won't be difficult. Salt 7 offers patrons a unique, hip experience that caters to a younger atmosphere. Don't fret if you're older! This place has also featured some elite 50+ crowds and is a popular spot for those looking to mingle with the in-crowd. Salt 7 comes with a wide array of menu options, a full bar, and also hosts some of the area's best Ladies’ Night events.

El Camino

If you are new to the area, there is no place probably more popular than El Camino. Located on the swanky Pineapple Grove, El Camino is a fine purveyor of Latin culture. The place is packed to the gills, and on Taco Tuesdays--even more so. Finding seating in the hotspot is extremely difficult, which is why making a reservation is highly recommended.

Whether you are there for the Mezcal or their squash blossom quesadillas--El Camino serves up some of the hottest nightlife in South Florida period. After hours, stop by the Brendy's next door for some cool fro-yo or tasty sundae!

Taverna Opa

exciting nightclub scene

Greece may be thousands of miles away across the ocean, but that doesn't mean its rich culture doesn't have to be. A newer addition to the Delray area, this Greek firecracker will satisfy.

Hosting live table dances, it's not hard to imagine you're in Santorini. With an open bar conveniently situated on Atlantic Ave itself, you can hear the belly dancing beats towards historic Swinton! This place serves an eclectic and exotic cuisine of all Greek favorites. If you're looking for a good time, beautiful woman, cool drinks, and amazing food--Taverna Opa is but a seat away.

Blue Anchor

Low-key and rustic, Blue Anchor, located over the bridge, is no stranger to some shenanigans! This historic landmark was once the setting of murder, inciting the local's curiosity of its haunted legend. After hours, most patrons make their way here to polish down swanky cocktails, with a cool, tall Guinness.

With that being said, this isn’t just an after-hours destination. Oh no; this place hosts some of the best live music and football games. By the way, we aren’t referring to American Football, but European Football, aka soccer in this country! So, if you are huge into sports and love a good beer, on a hot, summer day—head over to the Blue Anchor!
