What Are The Best Wine Bars In Delray Beach?
Delray Beach is a foodie's paradise. In a much smaller area, there's a Mizner Park-sized smattering of classy restaurants and fun eclectic bars. For residents of areas like Pineapple Grove or waterfront condos like The Banyan House, many of these fantastic establishments are within walking distance. For those of us who enjoy swirling a glass of cab (or three) on a rainy day like today, these Delray Beach wine bars are the preeminent places to enjoy the finest wines from around the world. Here are a few of our favorite selections. Next time you're in town, be sure to try one of the best wine bars in Delray Beach!
The Wine Room Kitchen & Bar
We'll start with the most obvious selection with the Wine Room Kitchen & Bar. This is perhaps the most dedicated and focused wine bar in Delray Beach, featuring over 2,500 wines and over 80 cheeses from around the world. Serious aficionados will enjoy the rare room, featuring the most elusive and treasured wines from all over. These wines were hand-selected by co-owner Bruce Simberg and represent some of the most exclusive wine selections in Delray Beach.
Wine House Social
Found within the Hyatt Place on Delray Beach, this eclectic wine bar has a bit more of a youthful vibe compared to the traditionalist decor of The Wine Room. In keeping with current food and beverage trend, Wine House Social specializes in organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wines. They also include organic beer on tap and in bottles. To round out its modern take on a classy wine establishment, Wine House Social has a work bar with charging stations and holds networking events for professionals of all ages.
RACKS Fish House & Oyster Bar
This prohibition-styled New England-y bar features a vintage nautical allure that adds to the mystique of this already unique restaurant. Part of the Gary Rack-led group of restaurants, the Fish House & Oyster Bar features a meticulous menu planned by Culinary Director Matthew Danaher, blending the classics like Maine lobster rolls with a modern South Florida allure. While not everyone favors fish & raw shellfish, there are enough farm-to-plate options and delicious wine pairings that make Rack's Fish House & Oyster Bar a place for anyone to try.
Joseph Wine Bar & Cafe
This elegant cafe and bistro is our favorite wine bar in beautiful Pineapple Grove. The Mediterranean-inspired cuisine is the perfect menu to pair with their over 2,000 select wines. This family-owned restaurant prides itself on service and its cozy atmosphere. Their appetizers, entrees, and ingredient quality are renowned in the area. If you're lucky enough, you'll receive a personal recommendation from Joseph himself, whose good taste and knack for hospitality has helped this small cafe endure and thrive as more and more corporate interests lay their roots in Delray Beach's culinary scene.
